JULY 31, 2014 - Ever since Mr. Barfield began making plans to leave his current position as production engineer at The Juilliard School, there have been many opportunities to stay on in some capacity. But Juillard has just made Anthony an offer he couldn't refuse! "I will be joining Juilliard Global Ventures in sort of a producers role as Media Production Manager!!" says Anthony ecstatically.  "I'll be overseeing the media side of our future digital projects-stay tuned for some REALLY amazing projects. JGV has connections in Brazil, China, and Mexico so traveling international and domestic will be a part of the job." Anthony will remain a full time composer as well as traveling for performances (promoting himself and Juilliard) and also remain a "friend of" the Juilliard MAP Program for Master-Classes and eventually helping to develop a Music Technology Program for MAP. Anthony has turned down an offer to teach at Western Connecticut State University but recommended a FANTASTIC friend and colleague-will be announced soon...
