ORIGIN STORY

In 2012, Tobias Truvillion (Brooklyn’s Finest, Hitch, One Life To Live), William Oliver Watkins (Nurse Jackie, Law & Order, Rescue Me) and Sheldon Woodley (Ruined, A Raisin in the Sun, Juilliard), sat around a table in an NYC coffee shop. The topic of discussion: “How can we pool our talent and experience to tell a dynamic and movie visual story. William, a film buff and self-taught screenwriter, had a script he had been dying to produce. Tobias had extensive experience with micro-budget filmmaking and a solid artistic network. Sheldon was an actor’s actor, able to completely immerse himself into the world of his character. After a lot of reading, planning and discussion, the choice became clear. Attempted Burglary would be their first joint venture. BrickApple Pictures was born.
